Derek Thrumble

Derek started his career in 1985 as an analyst, focusing on the use of statistical & actuarial modelling to deliver structured insurance programmes to the large industrial risks, concentrating on Energy risks from 1995.

His work continues today with strategic and financial analysis of energy risks and optimum insurance programme design, especially through the use of captive insurance vehicles, industry mutuals such as OIL and other risk financing solutions.

Derek previously worked at Anistics and Aon until joining Alesco as a Partner in 2008.
