We are Lloyd’s Brokers with access to Lloyd’s Underwriters whilst also actively utilising the domestic and international insurance and reinsurance markets. Business is placed on a direct insurance and reinsurance basis and, where required, under binding and delegated authority facilities.


ACCIDENT & HEALTH

  • DEATH
  • Personal Accident & Illness, Life, Medical and Travel

  • TEMPORARY TOTAL AND/OR PARTIAL DISABLEMENT
  • A weekly or monthly payment designed to replace income lost following an accident or illness, which temporarily prevents the insured from undertaking all, or part of their employment.

  • PERMANENT PARTIAL DISABLEMENT
  • A lump sum payable according to a scale of benefits in the event that the insured is permanently partially unable to continue their occupation arising from an accident or illness.

  • PERMANENT TOTAL DISABLEMENT/CAREER ENDING DISABILITY
  • A lump sum payable in the event that the insured is permanently unable to continue their occupation arising from an accident or illness.

  • LOSS OF LICENSE
  • A lump sum or monthly benefit designed to replace income lost following an accident or illness, which results in the License being revoked by Authorities either temporarily or permanently.

  • LIFE/DEATH NATURAL CAUSES
  • A lump sum payable following the death of the insured from ‘any cause’ or ‘natural causes only’.

  • MEDICAL EXPENSES
  • International Healthcare and Expatriate Programs including Evacuation & Repatriation, Funeral Costs and Mortal Remains Repatriation.

  • TRAVEL
  • Benefits including Medical & Repatriation, Cancellation & Curtailment, Baggage & Personal Effects, Personal & Business Money and other associated benefits.

CONTINGENCY

  • EVENT CANCELLATION
  • Reimbursement of costs and expenses or revenue following an event cancellation, abandonment, postponement, interruption or relocation, beyond the insured’s control. Generally purchased for sporting events, conferences & exhibitions, trade & other shows, concerts, festivals and theatre productions.

  • NON-APPEARANCE
  • An event cancellation policy extended to include the non-appearance of key performers, artists or speakers, due to their death, accident, illness or travel delay.

  • CONTINGENT TERRORISM
  • Cover for the cancellation of an event following an act or threat of terrorism which affects the event. Unlike a property terrorism policy, no act of terrorism has to occur for the policy to respond and the act or threat does not have to be at the venue.

  • PRIZE INDEMNITY
  • To indemnify the insured for prizes won as part of a promotion. Typically used for sporting achievement and spectator participation promotions, game shows, casino and lottery style games, refunds for retail purchases made should a specific event occur and radio & television show promotions.

  • CONTRACTUAL BONUS
  • To indemnify the insured for bonuses paid following sporting success, such as winning the league, cup, tournament, breaking a world record or qualifying for a major championship. Coverage can be arranged for an individual, team or against a roster of athletes.

  • LOSS OF LICENSE
  • A lump sum or monthly benefit designed to replace income lost following an accident or illness, which results in the License being revoked by Authorities either temporarily or permanently.

  • DEATH & DISGRACE
  • To protect the costs involved in the cancellation of an advertising campaign or contract should the contracted entertainer, sportsperson or celebrity die, become disabled or disgrace themselves, which could have a detrimental effect on the product or company.

  • FILM CONTINGENCIES
  • Film Producers, Commercial Producers and Advertising Agents package policies, Deductible Buy-Down, Exclusion Buy-Back and Sub-Limit Buy-Up policies for filmproductions.

  • TRANSMISSION FAILURE
  • To protect against loss of revenue following the mechanical breakdown of transmission equipment related to major live sporting events, concerts and other live broadcasts.

  • OVER REDEMPTION
  • Specifically used in the advertising and promotions industries to protect a promoter against the spiralling costs of a promotional campaign if it is “too” successful and the take-up is greater than anticipated.

  • WEATHER
  • A range of products to protect against the effects of the weather including Event Cancellation, Parametric covers, Weatherday for film shoots, Weather Conditions used in promotions and Weather Downtime for construction projects.

ENTERTAINMENT

In addition to the event and film related covers detailed under Contingency, we provide a range of products for those involved in entertainment, music, events and media industries:

  • PUBLIC/GENERAL LIABILITY
  • To protect against the costs should the insured’s actions lead to the injury of another person, cause damage to another person’s property or damage to a venue at which an event is being held.

  • EMPLOYERS LIABILITY
  • To protect the insured against compensation costs, should an employee suffer an injury or illness as a result of their employment.

  • EQUIPMENT
  • Covering the insured’s owned and hired-in equipment, (including instruments, staging, lighting, filming, video, sound and technical equipment) for loss, theft or damage, whilst in transit, in-use or in storage.

  • CASH
  • Protecting against the loss of boxoffice receipts and cash held during the running of an event or tour.

  • MEDIA LIABILITIES
  • Designed for media firms, covering those creating or distributing content: including copyright infringement, libel and slander, invasion of privacy and plagiarism.

SPECIAL CONTINGENCY


  • KIDNAP, RANSOM & EXTORTION
  • Family, Corporate & Maritime exposures, following a kidnap, extortion, detention or hijack. Provides financial reimbursement for costs and expenses incurred and specialist response consultants who are deployed on a priority basis to provide risk mitigation advice and consultancy.

  • EMERGENCY POLITICAL AND NATURAL DISASTER EVACUATION
  • Corporate and affinity programmes to provide response services and the associated costs of the necessary evacuation of travellers, expatriate employees and their families following a military or political event or a natural disaster.

  • CRISIS MANAGEMENT RESPONSE
  • Programs providing response services on a worldwide basis following a crisis event which affects an insured entity or a covered person. Cover is typically purchased by affinity groups, corporate entities, event organisers or a family group. The perils covered can be tailored to meet the requirements of the client, but could include: violent crime, assault, political violence, civil unrest, unlawful detention, terrorism, extortion, kidnap, disappearance (including child abduction) and man made & natural disasters.
